                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1740
                   GUNBARREL ROAD, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF
                   GUNBARREL ROAD SOUTHWEST OF IGOU GAP ROAD, FROM
                   R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO O-1 OFFICE ZONE,
                   SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1740 Gunbarrel Road,
                being on the southeast line of Gunbarrel Road
                southwest of Igou Gap Road.  The northeast 125 feet
                of Tract 4, Resubdivision of Pinewood Acres, as
                shown by plat of record in plat book 15, page 70,
                ROHC; being the property described in deed book
                4650, page 859, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 159H-B-29.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to O-1 Office Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:

              1.   Design standards of the Growth Corridor Policy.	  
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
